In its eighth year, the Park Hill Parade has grown to attract a crowd of over 5,000 people, who on Tuesday lined the parade route running down 23rd Avenue. Three of theses eye-catching blue, white, and orange 303 ARTWAY-themed bikes were part of the parade, with one ridden by ULC's Will Kralovec, Director of Master Site Development.
Located at the end of the parade was the Kearney Street Fair, at which ULC had a 303 ARTWAY Info Booth. During the afternoon, a ULC staff member was at the booth to describe the project to local residents and answer questions about the 303's planning efforts to date, future envisioned design, and projected route.
As part of the afternoon's Independence Day celebrations at the Street Fair, two 303 ARTWAY Bikes were raffled off. Over 100 people gathered at the 303 Info Booth at the designed time, each hoping to be a recepient of one of the stylish cruiser bikes. ULC congratulates the following two winners: Karen Burton, who won the first bike, and Cam Horan, who won the second one.
For those still hoping to win a 303 ARTWAY Bike, there are four more to be given away during 2017 at future community events. Keep an eye out for announcements or check in periodically at the 303 ARTWAY website: 303artway.com
